Coin Sold At Auction In Oneonta To Benefit Salvation Army

Lettis Auction Service in Oneonta held its final auction of the year Thursday with a number of rare items up for bids. In addition to the regular auction fare the service sold a 1853 US Quarter Eagle $2.50 gold piece with all the proceeds going to the Salvation Army Red Kettle Drive. In addition to the auction action there were several fundraising drawings held.
