
Two Sent To Local Trauma Centers Following I-88 Accident
Oneonta Professional Firefighters Local 2408 is reporting that last night around 9:00 pm, emergency crews were dispatched to an accident on I-88 involving a pickup truck and plow truck. According to Oneonta Fire fighters, the accident was discovered by first responders from Sidney Emergency Medical Services, traveling in an ambulance after dropping off a patient at a local hospital.
The crew stopped at the accident and provided patient care for two accident victims at the scene. One person at the scene had to be extricated from a vehicle. Both individuals were transported to area trauma centers.
The status of the two patients is not known at this time.
